Train2Reign ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (required to create an account)
• Display name (optional)
• Password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your plaintext password)

Fitness and Health Data

• Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weight, date)
• Biometric data you enter: HRV, resting heart rate, sleep hours, readiness score, body weight
• Body measurements (optional)
• Progress photos (stored securely in your private cloud storage)
• Training preferences: goal, experience level, equipment, sessions per week

Journal and Coaching Data

• Journal entries you create
• AI coaching responses generated on your behalf
• Focus protocol session records

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. We store only your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.

Technical Data

• Device type and operating system (for compatibility)
• App version
• Crash reports (anonymous)

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Train2Reign fitness tracking and coaching service
• To personalise your training plans, AI coaching, and workout recommendations
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To improve the app and fix bugs

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests: Security, fraud prevention, product improvement
• Consent: Where you have explicitly opted in (e.g. marketing communications)
• Legal obligation: Where required by law

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure, hosted on AWS in the US and EU regions. We use:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for all data transfers
• Encryption at rest for all stored data
• Row-level security so your data is only accessible by you
• Progress photos stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket

6. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

• Supabase (database and storage provider)
• Stripe (payment processor) — only email and subscription metadata
• Anthropic / AI providers — anonymised fitness context to generate AI coaching responses (no personally identifying information is included)

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and photos are deleted within 30 days. Anonymised aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely.

8. Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Restriction: Ask us to restrict processing of your data
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent

9. Cookies

The Train2Reign web app uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

Train2Reign is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and European Union. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
